The Huber Unistat 815 is commonly used for primary solvent chilling on small ethanol systems, and hydrocarbon extractors, but can be used beyond that in many different ways. It can chill material columns, but this unit might be a little overkill for such an application. When pairing this to an extractor, we usually recommend a 5-10 lb. extractor. For larger extractors, its sometimes recommended to consider the Huber Unistat 825 for faster chilling time, which equates to more runs in a day, and more product produced.

The pump self-regulates to ensure the best possible circulation and flow and delicate glass reactors are protected from breakage by the pump’s soft start-up feature. Because Unistat chillers are hydraulically sealed, the service life of the temperature control fluid is dramatically increased by preventing oil loss through vapours and oxidation, further saving resources.
